I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2009 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts and jumped straight into teaching at Art Garden Academy in Gahanna, Ohio. I loved teaching at Art Garden and was able to work with all age groups and in a lot of mediums, including water color, pen and ink, oil pastel, chalk pastel, acrylic and oil paint, as well as basic drawing. After spending 12 years helping students grow as artists, I decided in August of 2022 that it was time to focus on my own artistic growth. 

With a heavy heart, I left the studio to peruse my own artistic endeavors. Lately, I have been focusing on learning stained glass and developing my watercolor and ink skills. I definitely have a short attention span when it comes to art and really enjoy jumping around from medium to medium.
